The Young Artist Academy program is a division of the Art Florida Academy / Romero Hidalgo Artists' Studios/MyArt Ventures LLC, that offers beginning, intermediate and advanced fine art drawing and painting classes to children and teens in Miami, from 5th grade to 12th grade students. Young artists are taught by professional artists in a real art studio, taking into account personal interests and special needs. We offer after school, spring break/summer camp, workshops and portfolio prep classes. Seeing the great demand for quality fine art instruction in the Miami area, we devoted ourselves to developing a curriculum that would enable our students to learn how to approach drawing, painting, and different techniques from a skill level which is in turn helping them develop a sense of self-confidence and pride in their artwork.
